Saw The Matrix Reloaded tonight. I won't spoil anything, but I will say that I liked the first movie better. Don't get me wrong, this is a good movie and I think any sci-fi fan would be gipping him or herself by not seeing it, but it just didn't hold the same flavor for me as the original Matrix.

But it's cool, because at this point Reloaded clearly can't function on its own - this is like watching The Empire Strikes Back for the first time - you know there's more coming; you just have to wait for it. And I'm patient. As Laurence Fishburne said, "The answers are coming."

And now, LeeboZeebo Theatre presents to you a tender bond between mother and son, as experienced earlier today.

*Mom is poppin' some pills and has taken her gum out to do so, holding it precariously over her diet coke which she is going to drink*
Lee: Uh, Mom?
*gum goes plop in diet coke*
Mom: Shit.
Lee: Yeah.
Mom: Shit damn.
Lee: *laughs*
Mom: *laughs also*
Lee: I was about to tell you - I mean, I could totally see what was about to happen there.
Mom: *laughs more*
Lee: Your diet coke is so minty now. It brings you fresh wintery breath with each new sip.
Mom: *laughs harder*
Lee: You should have stuck that gum behind your ear.
Mom: *laughing* No, I don't want waxy build-up on my gum.
Lee: You'd not only have it on your gum, but also coating your gums. Wait...wait....yeah, there's the Campbell's soup theme. "Mmm-mmm, good."
Mom: I missed you so much, Lee.
Lee: Awwww
Mom & Lee: *hug*
Mom & Lee: *moment*
Mom & Lee: ...
Lee: Yeah, if we're gonna go run these errands we should get a move on, cuz I had burritos for lunch and there's no telling when my next potty emergency is going to come up.
Mom: *sigh*
