Last Two Days
11:11 a.m.
Well, since my last entry I've done a lot of moving. Ryan is now somewhat comfortably situated in his new apartment, and Colt has all of his worldly possessions in Ryan's old room. Unfortunately his worldly possessions do not seem to include a bed, so he's been sleeping on the floor. He should probably get that taken care of.
That day also saw me watching Fight Club over at Jennifer and Natalie's apartment. They have a really nice apartment, just so everybody knows. I kept thinking I lived in a pretty decent place, but now that I've seen their apartment, I realize that mine is a dump in comparison.
I stayed pretty late at their place. I could have stayed later, but I got the impression that Jennifer was angry about something (she went back to her room multiple times and sort of ignored me for a good chunk of the evening) so I left a bit earlier than Joe thinking it might have been me - after all, the only thing to make it different from any other night was me.
News Update: Right after I wrote that Jennifer messaged me and in our conversation she told me that she was just having a bad night that day, so it wasn't me at all. That's good to know. I like Jennifer - definitely enough that I'd like to be her friend, and that doesn't happen too often to me. I don't want to be somebody that's going to irk her.
------
Yesterday was work out madness. Running, weights, and then, when I was at my most icky - swimming, just to cool off. I think that was a pretty successful combo - I'll have to repeat it. I got minorly burned, but not bad enough that I can really feel it. I think maybe I'm either getting used to the sun or learning my limitations a little better. Either one is good. It's high time that my body learned to accept some UV rays without melting.
That night Joe, Jennifer, Natalie, and lots of other people went to Harry's. He invited me, but I was still kind of riding on the idea that maybe I wasn't the one that should be going, so I passed and went to The Tap instead, where I had, like, five or six amaretto sours. What's really sad is that I was majorly buzzing by the end of the third one. That's a very low alcohol content drink - it just shows how low my tolerance is.
But on the bright side, I get drunk a lot cheaper than anybody else.
Afterwards we all went swimming - Me, Ryan, Todd, Colt, Amy, Sara, Rachele, and Victoria. Since we had an even number of people and a 50/50 boy-girl split, we decided to have chicken fights. And let me tell you that I was ready to RRRRUUUMMMBBBLLLLEEEE!
Our teams were divided thusly:
Ryan + Sara
Colt + Rachele
Lee + Amy
Todd + Victoria
Amy and I were vicious at knocking people over, but for some reason Amy always fell off my shoulders about two or three seconds right after we'd win, so I'm not sure if any of our flawless victories actually count.
Well, it was fun, anyway.
Oh, side note: They gave us some free can-holder things. You know what I'm talking about - like a sleeve to stick your canned beverage in that will supposedly keep it cooler longer. Todd and I put them on like boxing gloves and had a no-holds-barred battle to the death, because it's nigh impossible for us to go to The Tap without somebody giving us a funny look at some point in the evening.

Oh, man, before I forget - I reached a new level of retardation that one night that I went over to Jennifer and Natalie's. I'm driving over there, right? So I do this little spot check of myself to make sure I have everything. I pat my back pocket to check for my wallet - it's there, good. I pat my front pocket to check for my keys, and....where are my keys? Oh, man, did I forget my keys? How could I forget my keys?
I panicked. How am I going to drive back from Jennifer and Natalie's? Maybe Joe can give me a ride. Hey, are they in the cup holders - maybe I dropped them in there. No, not there. Oh, man, this is bad, I need my keys.
*clink clink clink* go my keys against the dash.
Oh, hey! Awesome, my keys are right here in the car! Man, that's good, I was afraid that....
Ohhhhhhhh.
How do I make good grades?
