It's a sad state of affairs when I wake up and read a comic and say to myself, "I sure would like to meet a girl kind of like that. That's cute." Yes. A girl like this fictional character. Christ.
------
This girl is the only one I know who can say, "I'm in a good mood and it's Monday, it must be the cock" without me suddenly and very explicably going, "What?"

It's come to my attention that Valentine's Day is upon us. Valentine's isn't a holiday that I pay a lot of attention to. A lot of people have a certain kind of ambivalence towards it - they're either all for it and completely against it, which mostly depends on whether or not they happen to have somebody to spend it with. I take most people's Valentine's rants or soliloquies as little more than postulating.
As such, I won't provide any of my own. Valentine's Day is just another holiday, kids. Take it how you will.
Actually, since I've given up chocolate, Valentine's Day really sucks for me. Hey, fuck you, Saint Valentine! What the fuck am I supposed to snack on? Triscuits? Oh, Triscuits. Yeah, I really like those.
That reminds me - here's some of my favorite foods of all time, in ascending order:
[3] Cookies
[2] Triscuits
[1] Sandwiches

I heard about eleventy billion people talking about Janet Jackson's breast today. I never thought I'd say this, but I actually got tired of hearing the word "boob."
I actually missed the specific moment where Janet bared all half, because I turned my head for half a second to talk to Joe during Half Time. I read a report about it later and saw actual pictures, and from what I can see, nothing was really exposed - her GINORMOUS nipple medallion covered anything of interest. I bet that thing bites into her when she wears her tight leather get-up. Somebody should tell her that unpleasant red welts and cuts aren't sexy.
That aside, I could care less about the event itself except for the fact that apparently MTV is taking a lot of heat (they being the producers of this halftime show), and last I heard they were being banned from ever having anything to do with the Super Bowl again.
Great. I hate MTV, so I really like it when they get some comeuppance. Of course, the whole thing will probably just generate publicity for their bullshit network, so I guess I shouldn't be celebrating so much. Way to prove to the world that you're still controversial and edgy on ANOTHER FUCKING NETWORK, guys. You'll expose Janet Jackson's tit on CBS, but you won't let Triumph the Insult Comic Dog speak at your very own VMAs. MTV is filled with pulsating vagina-faces.

I had another story idea today - a romantic comedy from the first person perspective of a guy. I may end up going with that one. I'm still not sure. Tomorrow I want to write up some material for all the ideas I've had so far and show them to my prof on Wednesday to get his feedback. I just can't make up my mind, and I need one of these concepts set in stone by this Friday.

I feel like I should do something this Spring Break. I never do anything. The only thing I did last year was get my wisdom teeth yanked out. That was a hoot and a fucking half. I bled for like six hours. Best Spring Break ever!
This year, though, I think I'd like to really do something. I'm thinking road trip. Seriously. Even if none of my friends are up for it, I'm still thinking I want to hit the road, Kerouac style. Keep your eyes peeled, America. LeeboZeebo could be coming to your house! For free dinner and shelter. Yeah!

In other news, I found out today that my ePrompter email notification tool is only capable of displaying a certain number of new emails at a time thanks to everybody at 12% Beer who filled my inbox with...something. I'm not sure, exactly. I'm bad enough at keeping up without a sudden torrent of electronic mail suddenly hurled at me. What basically happened was my face melted.
But I'm okay now.

I think I'm going to live in Austin after I graduate from Texas A&M University with my B.B.A. I'm not totally sure what I'm going to do there, but it's a big enough city that I imagine I'll find some kind of gainful employment if I try hard enough. Plus, it'll make it easier for my transition to The University of Texas later on that much simpler, as I'll already be right there.
To a lot of people, going from A&M to UT is very close to sacrilege (we've got a terrible grudge against one another, you see), but I don't much buy into school rivalries - UT is a much better liberal arts college than A&M is while still being very affordable to me. Therefore, off I go. It's as simple as that. I'm not looking forward to the driving situation or living in a big city, but we all have to make allowances every once in a while when we're looking out for our own best interests.
